Sunday 11th January 2026 - OPEN TRIPLES TOURNAMENT

Our Open Triples Tournament proved to be a most successful and thoroughly enjoyable day of bowls.

Feedback from participants across all key areas was overwhelmingly positive, and when so many aspects of an event receive the tick of approval, it’s clear the formula is working well.

Key highlights included:

• Sponsors – We are extremely fortunate to enjoy strong and ongoing support from our sponsors: Kangaroo Flat Sports Club, Ultimate Tyre & Auto, Click Control Systems and Moama Bowls Club. Their backing is greatly appreciated.

• Club surrounds and greens – Presented in excellent condition and looking an absolute picture.

• Clubroom setup and presentation – First class, as always.

• Egg and bacon rolls – Now a much-loved tradition and again a big hit with players.

• Lunch – Simply first class.

• Bar service – Refreshments were readily available thanks to our friendly and obliging bar staff.

• Prize money – Well pitched and warmly received.

As a result of all these positives, we were delighted to welcome 108 bowlers on the day, many of whom faced difficult travel conditions due to nearby fires. Their effort to attend made the occasion even more special and contributed to a very enjoyable sporting day.
